Bayu will appear on Kei F.M Batam Radio Station and on a one hour talk show on STV on 26 August 2oo6.
On the same day, Bayu will be the guest band for a Riau Band Competition , organized by IndoSel.7 p.m at D. C MALL (Batam). Bayu's Management will be bringing 30 fans to accompany Bayu. For those keen to find out more info, please email bayusatucinta@gmail.com.

A concert clip of 'Satu Cinta' will be spinned continously for the next couple of months over STV from mid August onwards as part of our early promotion there. For those who can get the transmission do tune to it. More exact details soon.
"Satu Cinta" will be Bayu's first single there and Kei Fm Batam will be spinning it from September onwards.
If everything goes well, "Diulit Kidung Rindu'( Re-Packaged) will be distributed by a major distributor overseas.
Tour Dates and overseas promo will be revealed hopefully by October as final negotiation are under process.
'Satu Cinta' video Clip will definitely be shot and produced in August. A release date will be announce.

19 August 06 - Mendaki ( Anti -Sexuality Campaign)Venue CauseWay Point. 2pm. A show aimed at addressing the negative impacts of sex before marriage.
15 Sept 06 - Drama Forum, Organized by MCC NetWork, Kallang Theatre. With Mastura Ahmad, M.Safri A. Manaf, Rabbani etc. Bayu will perform a composition of the theme song for the play entitled "Sumpah Pada Tuhan'.About Religion & Promise made to God.

Comedian & Multi Talented entertainer Mr. Ishak Ahmad has passed away peacefully this morning. His body will be flown back from Jakarta today. The late Mr. Ishak Ahmad mc'eed at Bayu's events Konsert Anugerah, Bedok Stadium with Mawi, Kecoh- Kecoh Joo Chiat etc.

Latest Bayu News
We will be re -shooting 'Satu Cinta' video clip in august. The initial video clip has been put away due to technical matters. Expected release date will be mid September 2006. The Video Clip will be package together in an upcoming E.Zs Music Production compilation album due out this Hari Raya which features Bayu, Nasyid group Solihin , Andresha etc.
We will be performing at Kallang theatre for a special theatre play directed by NadiPutra. Bayu will be performing the theme song which revolves around a broken promise to God.
Haadi will be singing a Hari Raya theme song entitled Suci Raya. Suci Raya will feature other E.Zs artistes. It will be produced by Jai Wahab.
The limited Edition Singapore release of 'Diulit Kidung Rindu' sales is almost finish. We will officially launch the album in a repackage format overseas somewhere between November and December 2006 followed by a press session, promotional tour and shows. Distributor details will be confirm. We will release the Repackage album back in Singapore early 2007.

There has been a bit of a controversy pertaining to our comments recently. We would like to make it clear that some of our comments came out in a different tone and light than what was meant in our soul. The media will always have the right and are at power to to construct what they feel is right base on their judgement. We respect that.
But Bayu would like to categorically add that we respect and look up to underground bands and our peers, be it whether they have cross the mainstream path or otherwise.
Our salutations and respect goes to bands like Stomping Ground, NunSex, Pagans, Padres, Global Chaos, Still, The Mother, Aegyptie , OddFellows, Rudra, Flow, Opposition Party etc . The players in Bayu have been in the scene with various indiependant, underground, D-I-Y bands since 1992 rocking it out at holy grail places like The SubStation, World Trade Centre and the good old Polytechnic gig days and releasing self made demo tapes in black and white mind you and tons of other projects and networks. Why would we want to undermine our roots ideals and spirit.
Our comment was to encourage underground bands to ASK...REPEAT...ASK FOR PAYMENT or at least due recognition and start to show the public that underground bands mean business and not to be treated lightly for their music and art. If an artist makes a statement that he or she does not want to their work, songs, performances etc to be recognize and be shown in media or performed to the mass then to a certain degree some form of hypocrisy is involve and the scene we love might not flourish.
Bayu always makes it a point to mention to the Malay mainstream market our roots. Our sincerest hope is we contribute even a little to change the mainstream mindset.

The Band
Bayu started its journey back in August 2004.
The band's forte is alternative indie & pop rock. Although Bayu's collective musical influences are bands like Padi,Search, Muse,Foo Fighters, Atreyu, RadioHead,Dewa,Sweet Charity, Smashing Pumpkins the band flaunts their own unique flavour in their songs.
Bayu means wind or breeze in english. It depicts the soft melodius
melodies and ethereal lyrics of Bayu. The name symbolizes the band's
music, artisitic vision and lyrics. Bayu's main vision is to gather and create a Bayu fan club where we can call a family, and eventually gain recognition for their music.
Although Bayu's initial band line-up decided to disperse in 2004, Bayu was determined not to let it bring a halt to their journey. 7 months later, a new and rejuvenated spirit of Bayu formed a whole new line-up and were back with their music.
Bayu has performed at various places such as Pasir Ris D' Marquee, Bedok Stadium, Max Pavillion, Stadium Temenggong Batam, Indonesia Embassy, shopping centre roadshows, Park Gigs, with artistes such as Awie Wings, Amy Search, Mawi, Khairul Anwar, Fauzi Laily, BhumiBand, Shoe Size Nine etc. It is time for Bayu to take their music one step further.

Pancarona means multicoloured in malay. Pancarona hopes to gather Bayu's fans where we can call ourselves a family eventually. Our vision is to support the local malay music here in Singapore and bring it alive like it used to be in the past.
